Bob Buscho is a wood turner who makes both decorative and functional bowls. He works with old growth, salvaged redwood, and other reclaimed wood. A quote: “The beauty of trees has always been in inspiration to me. Their shapes are formed by the forces of nature combined with the unique structure of each tree resulting in complex grain patterns with timeless beauty.”
Thomas Fetherston creates custom furniture designs and woodworking: “Thomas’s love of craft and design began with a five year apprenticeship restoring fine period antiques in the New York area while attending the Parsons School of Design … every project his studio has created has been made to order and client specific, no two the same.”
Michael Gothelf creates fine and functional woodwork, bowls and decorative containers. He often uses the local hardwood of Marin and Sonoma counties.
The furniture designer Allen Miesner “brings fun to the functional…Miesner has reshaped the conference room, the coffee table, redefined the garden chair and shed new light on the lamp.”
Don Rixman designs and carves large corporate sculptures, sculpted furniture, trunks, boxes, screens, doors and entrees. His finely carved pieces often depict Marin’s mountains and majestic trees, such as the Redwoods, Eucalyptus, Bay Laurel, and California Live Oak.
